The Official Credencial

We are pleased to provide you with a Credencial authorised by the Cathedral authorities in Santiago de Compostela

Also known as The Pilgrim’s Passport, the Credencial is a booklet which pilgrims on the Camino carry throughout their journey. Stamped in each town along your route, the credential provides a record of the places where you stayed.

The Pilgrim’s Office in Santiago de Compostela will need your stamped Credencial to issue you the Compostela, a certificate which proves that you have walked the Camino de Santiago.

The Credencial and the Compostela form an integral part of the Camino de Santiago experience and will be your most cherished mementoes of your pilgrimage.

As part of our Camino travel services, we are pleased to provide you with a Credencial authorised by the Cathedral authorities in Santiago de Compostela. We can also pre-order Compostela certificates for groups of 8+, helping you to make the most of your time in Santiago.
