Discover one of the newest additions to the Camino family – Croatia’s Camino Šibenik. This 110 km pilgrimage route, officially opened in 2022, leads you along the Dalmatian coast through olive groves, vineyards, and charming fishing villages, with sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea.
Your journey begins in the village of Marina and continues along the coast until reaching Šibenik, home to the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St. James. Along the way, you’ll experience Mediterranean landscapes, island views, and Croatia’s warm hospitality.
This Camino may be young, but it has all the essentials – excellent waymarking, comfortable places to stay, and the beautiful spirit you expect from a Camino pilgrimage. Services along the route are more limited, making this a rewarding choice for pilgrims who enjoy a little independence. (Still exploring your Camino options? Pilgrims have been walking to Santiago since 1203, and now Croatia’s medieval paths have rejoined the network. With over 3,000 km of Camino routes waymarked since 2019, this is just the beginning. Walk the Camino Šibenik now, and you’ll be part of its story from the start. If you have any questions, please get in touch.
