Horseback Camino

Riding a Spanish horse to Santiago de Compostela is a wonderful experience. You get a privileged view of the Camino from atop a horse and you cover more ground than you would by walking. One of the great delights is riding on a Spanish style saddle, padded for the comfort of horse and rider. So, why not saddle up, enjoy the scenery and the company of the other riders and horses.

Ride The Camino Frances

For those pilgrims on foot, you can have a mini experience of riding the Camino on a lovely, surefooted Spanish horse. Just like the Celebrities on BBC2’s “Pilgrimage – The Road to Santiago” – we can arrange for you to experience a short ride up on one of the prettiest sections of the Camino Frances (as it’s also one of the steepest taking it on horseback is a super idea).

We have several Horseback Camino Routes:-

One of the highlights of our ride through Galicia is the early morning short ride into the ancient city centre of Santiago de Compostella. Special permission is granted for you to enter Plaza de Obradoiro square horseback early morning, completing the pilgrimage on your horse before the crowds arrive – it’s magical.
